On this day 68 years ago my grandpa Ben was 1 of 2 men out of 80 of the 120th Regiment 30th Infantry Division of the US Army to survive the beaches of Normandy.
I just found out my grandpa is a fucking badass. He got 2 purple hearts, because, you know, getting shot once wasn’t enough to take him out. Neither was being shot twice either you Nazi faggots. Rot in hell.
